The Rio Maior Sports Centre holds 4 outdoor football training pitches. Two with 100 x 64 m, and the others with 60 x 70 mts.
One is in synthetic turf has FIFA "2 Star" (100 x 64 m) certification, the maximum for these kind of fields, that ensures the quality of the pitch and of it's construction and maintenance.
2 Star FIFA certification makes these pitches suitable for receiving games of any FIFA event.
To practice volleyball and beach soccer there
is now a new pitch in the Sports Centre, with the official measures for
competitions, where the Portugal National Beach Soccer Team makes their
training sessions.
