FROM RIO MAIOR TO THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The Portugal National U21 Football team arrived on June 1st to Rio Maior for a training camp giving beginning to the Euro 2015 preparation.

The European Championship is scheduled for the Czech Republic, between 17 and 30 June with seven teams joining the 2002 winners to contest the trophy in June 2015.

The seven play-off winners will join the Czechs in the finals, with matches held in Prague, Olomouc and Uherske Hradiste.

The group stage draw was made in Prague on 6 November:

Group A: Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Serbia

Group B: England, Italy, Portugal, Sweden

The National Coach Rui Jorge, announced yesterday his chosen players for this training camp

The Sporting players (Carlos Mané, João Mário, Paulo Oliveira and Tobias Figueiredo) and SC Braga (Rafa) who played on Sunday, the final of the Cup of Portugal will join the group today. Bernardo Silva and William Carvalho will integrate the work of the Portugal National Team
