ROLANDO FREITAS “RIO MAIOR MARKED OUR COMPETITIONS

The Portugal Junior National Handball, Rolando Freitas, knows the Rio Maior Sports Complex for a long time.

Many of the current young Portuguese successful results were obtained also with work in the Rio Maior Sports Complex training camps.

Rolando Freitas, in an interview to the Desmor website, notes that Rio Maior "has excellent conditions for professional sport. The Complex is well-organized. In the same space there are great conditions for the athletes, as the Multisport Pavilion, the athletic tracks, swimming pools, the Sports Center with gymnasium, auditorium and physical therapy, which greatly facilitates our work."

In the last training camps to prepare the team to the World Championship, Rolando Freitas highlights the physical tests that were conducted in Rio Maior in partnership with the Jamor staff.

He also reveals that is very important the doctor that now works in The Sports Centre.
