PORTUGAL NATIONAL FUTSAL TEAM IN RIO MAIOR

The Portugal National Futsal Team started on Monday 9th an important training camp to  prepare the access round to the next European Championship, to be held in Romania between the 17th and 22nd of this month. Until Friday, the National Team will be in the Desmor – Rio Maior Sports Centre  performing the training sessions in the Multi Sports Hall.

The National Coach Jorge Braz called the players João Matos, Djô, Paulinho, André Sousa and Pedro Cary, Bébé, Bruno Coelho, Fabio Cecilio, João Brito, Victor Hugo, Mario Freitas. The international players as Ricardinho, Cardinal and Arnald will join the group later, after important games in their teams.

At this access stage to the European Championships, the selection of Portugal will compete in the  group 7, against Georgia, Kazakhstan and Romania. The winner of the group ensures the ticket for the European, which takes place in Serbia between 2nd and 13th February 2016, while the 2nd place will dispute a "playoff".
