RIO MAIOR IN THE IAAF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2015 World Championships in Athletics will be held in Beijing, China, from 22 to 30 August. Once again Rio Maior will be very well represented with the race walkers João Vieira, Sergio Vieira, Vera Santos and Inês Henriques. The coach Jorge Miguel will be with the national technical team while Pedro Isidro, from Azambuja, also will be in the competition. This athlete will be on the 50 Kms race while the others will compete in the 20 Kms.
