demanding athletes looking for excellence in European, World, Olympic
and Paralympic Games.
When we are less than a year from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paris 2024 is already on the horizon, our infrastructure and services are once again recognized internationally.
The International Triathlon Union (ITU) and the Australian Sports Institute honoured the Rio Maior Sports Center with two certifications, which show recognition of the excellence of the services our professionals are able to provide and the quality of our infrastructure and equipment.
The ITU recognized the Rio Maior Sports Center as one of the most modern and multipurpose sports centres, provinding all the requirements to the ITU High Performance Training Center rating.

This is the recognition by a work of several years for the world triathlon, which has brought to Rio Maior some of the most important world triathletes, as well as those in training camps such as ITU Development U23 & Junior World Camp in 2013, ETU Development Camp in 2016 and ITU Development Camp in 2017, among others.
