SPORTING X NACIONAL IN THE MUNCIPAL STADIUM

The new Sporting striker Fredy Montero scored the only goal on the unofficial game against Nacional, played yesterday (1st August) in the Rio Maior Stadium. Sporting CP returned to Rio Maior, this time with the A team, to a unofficial game against the National that ended in Rio Maior a training camp on last 2nd August.

Many Sporting fans came to Rio Maior to support their team, that now is full of new young tallent.

The Stadium of Rio Maior was also the venue of another professional football game on the past July 19nd  between SC Olhanense (Portugal)  and Reading FC (England), with the final result 5-1, in favor of the England team.
