SPORTS FOR ALL IN RIO MAIOR

The classes of another year of the Sports for All programme will start on 16 October, and people can sign up for it from 23 September.

This year, the Desmor – Rio Maior Sports Centre and the City Hall of Rio Maior, with the support of the parish councils, proposed the regular practice of physical activities focusing on leisure and health with classes of aerobics, fitness and gymnastics.

From tomorrow, the people can sign up for the new season. In Rio Maior the place of registration is the secretary office of the Swimming Pool Complex and in the offices of the parish councils.

In the last season, Sports for All registered a number of approximately 400 participants over 9 months of physical activity. Throughout 17 years of operation, Sports for All has become a benchmark at national level, an example for many other councils in Portugal involved in promoting physical activity.
