SWIMMING TEAM OF BELGIUM SURPRISED WITH RIO MAIOR

From 25 december to 8 january a team of swimmers from the Mosan Liege Club, Belgium, is making a training camp in Rio Maior.

The delegation is composed by 11 persons including two coaches, eight young athletes, from 13 to 21 years, and a professional swimmer.

All the athletes compete in National Belgium Championships.

They have chosen the Rio Maior Sports Complex due to the quality facilities and provided good weather. It is the first time they are in Rio Maior. They are well surprised by what they found in the 50-meter swimming pool, where daily have several training tracks at appropriate times. They have already done training camps in France and Spain, but now they prefer the Rio Maior Sports Complex, said the coaches Thomas Christophe and Rosu Michael.
