It was with great satisfaction and pride that in the Desmor – Rio Maior Sports we  have celebrated the victory of Portugal in the UEFA Euro 2016!

Portugal victory was a triumph of justice to the Portuguese football, today with great players, teams, coaches, officials and institutions that, in the past years, have made an intense investment in the continuing training of young players.

The Desmor Rio Maior Sports Centre is proudly partner of the Portuguese Football Association, as a Training Centre for youth national teams.  He wave been part of the evolution path and competitive growth of the national teams and players who have achieved this historic triumph for Portugal.

Many of the Portuguese athletes who now get important titles know very well  the Desmor Rio Maior Sports Centre.

Players like  Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Quaresma, Rui Patricio, Bruno Alves, William Carvalho, João Mário and André Gomes, among many others, made many training camps in Rio Maior, now increasingly prepared in its services and facilities, to meet the requests and demands of top professional football teams.

The facilities and services that we have are fundamental for the athlete´s development, growth and  recovery. A stadium for football, natural grass pitches and synthetic grass pitches and other equipments make ou Sports Centre the preferred for the Portugal Football Association.
We also have a medical office, performance testing and monitoring lab, physiotherapy and recovery (jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, cryotherapy, laser, ultrasounds, magnetotherapy, shock wave therapy and short wave therapy), sports masseurs, nutritionists, psychologists, gymnasiums and a auditorium. Our lodging facilities includes three independent areas with a total of 48 rooms ready for single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy, meeting the specific needs of teams and athletes. In the restaurant our menus are prepared with consideration of the specific needs of each lodged team, which can previously be selected by the team managers.
