YOUNG SWIMMERS WITH GREAT RESULTS

The third round of the IV Circuit of Swimming Schools was held on 23th February, in Marteleira. Our team was represented by 21 young swimmers leaded by the coaches Ana Marques, Rui Mendes and João Felix.

In the relays competition the team of Rio Maior was once again the first classified. The team was represented by Andreia Loureiro, Beatriz Cardoso, Beatriz Neves, Catarina Cunha, Cláudio Martins, Diogo Caneco, Guilherme Gaboleiro, Ricardo Gaboleiro, Gustavo Arroja, João Nogueira, João Pinto, João Ribeiro, Laura Lopes, Maria Beatriz Leal, Rodrigo Silva, Tomás Santos, Vasco Santos, Joana Rodrigues, Rodolfo Rodrigues, Diogo Simões and João Dragão.

The main goal of our team are the continuation of the work done in previous years, by creating training habits, training in spirit team, developing physical and psychological capacities, but also the opportunity to live new experiences, especially in competitive environment . The aim is also that young swimmers will be motivated and develop a taste for competition.

The IV Circuit also includes the following rounds:

- April 13th – Bombarral

- 18 or May 25th – Nazaré

- June 15th - Rio Maior

The organization of this circuit swimming schools is the responsibility of the City Councils, Municipal Companies and Swimming Schools.
